My partner and I explored this spot two months back while we were in San Francisco. On our way to Dolores Park, we craved something sweet and stumbled upon this place. We decided to order a banana split. The staff assisting us was incredibly friendly and provided great explanations. The banana split was absolutely delicious. Although there was a long line when we got there, it moved quite quickly. We can't wait to return to this place again in the future.

Tried many flavors in the store. This place really does not disappoint! Their basic flavors like cookies and cream and vanilla Have some uniqueness to it compared to what you would find elsewhere like Baskin-Robbins. Candy Cane had strong flavors of candy cane. Not overly sweet, and they were able to balance the sweetness and the peppermint in their ice cream. Very good! Honey lavender had a decently creamy texture. Had a strong floral scent, but not overpowering. Not too sweet. Very good! Eggnog was absolutely the best I have ever tried! The employees told me that each scoop had roughly one teaspoon of brandy. The alcohol was strong, but overall a very strong balance of flavors. Their ricanelas, triple chocolate coconut, and pumpkin cheesecake were beautiful done. The texture of the triple chocolate was velvety and the taste of coconut was apparent. The ricanelas was pleasantly sweet, and not overpowering. All three of these flavors managed to balance, sweetness, and richness beautifully. The rose ice cream was amazing. I tasted a lot of rose essence , but was not overpowering , nor was it too sweet. I really like the floral hint of the flavor. Earl Grey was pretty good, but I have had better. It could use just a slight bit of intensity, and then it will be perfect. The candied spice and ginger ice cream was really good. All the flavors worked very well together. I like the bits of the ginger. It had a good texture, and was not overwhelming. Overall, they do not skimp on the ingredients, and they are not cheap with it. The quality of the vast majority of their flavors are apparent to the taste. Definitely the top three ice cream shops in San Francisco. I will definitely visit again. Can’t wait for their next seasonal flavors!

Creamy, non-icy no frills ice cream, great flavors. We tried the butter pecan and coffee toffee and they both tasted exactly like they sound

I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait about 25 minutes in line—but it was absolutely worth it! I went for the Make Your Own sundae, and it turned out to be the best choice ever. I picked Black Sesame, Salted Caramel, and Peanut Butter flavors, and topped it with spiced pecans, caramelized bananas, hot fudge, and, of course, whipped cream. It was incredibly delicious! I totally recommend checking this place out!

Always a great spot to grab ice cream and then walk it off in The Mission. I usually go for the chocolate vanilla soft serve swirl with buffalo mix but this Moroccan Caramel Swirl is amazing

Perfect ice cream stop before heading to the park next door. Heard this was one of the best ice cream shops in the city, so we swung by after a late brunch around 3PM. The line was long. Took us about 20 minutes to get inside and order, but it was totally worth the wait. We tried a few of their most popular flavors: Black Sesame, Balsamic Strawberry, and Honey Lavender. My personal favorites were the latter two. Both had delicate, nuanced flavors. The balsamic and lavender notes were subtle, just enough to leave a pleasantly aromatic finish without overwhelming the creamy base.

This spot is bangin! After a burrito on Mission we drove a short distance to top off lunch with some ice cream….and this place it the mark. we ordered salted caramel ice cream, and I got a second scoop of the coffee toffee. The buddy I was with had his banana flamed… like a crème brûlée. Excellent texture very clean place super friendly gal who helped us. And indeed, a great way to treat yourself after a burrito on Mission.

Great creamy, thick ice cream. Birthday cake (has cake chunks!) and tiramisu flavors are exceptional. I got my order for free because they mis-scooped on a previous customer's. Great customer service! Very kind of them to give it for free. Bi-Rite Creamery x Dolores Park is a peak combination.
